its been 18 months since our first nang release, d-pulses >more<. nestled on that release was an extra ep track called >highway to saturn<. much to our delight it turned out to be a bit of a gem. when it featured on the tirk 02 and kitsune ponystep / jerry bouthier compilations we knew we were all onto something. bassbuero a.k.a. thomas ingold and his partner björn müller are long-year resident djs and promoters in our hive club and come around the corner with a smooth customer debut. the title could not be any more designative, as with this is not house music we have a knotless and outstanding 90s number with lots of pathos and - declaredly - they have looked over some shoulders of big protagonists from france. when the vocoder chords are crossing swords with this insane bassline, every ravers heart must beat at least one octave higher. this is the tune for a perfect sunrise and big feelings on the floor. on the flip we have gruber & nuernberg, some good pals of bassbuero that played in hive several times as well - they contribute a complete antipole to the the original. almost a bit trancey they spin the chords over a straight old school house groove, never let the basic spirit of the original out of sight and though don t forget to leave their very own traces on this remix. in addition we have - as with every release - a digital exclusive bonus track, that certainly does not deserve the rating house music - lets call it rather fidget than deep. but be sure, its all gone will blow your mind out.

hypnotize to mesmerize. thatÆs always been mark eÆs thing. enjoying a sterling reputation as an editor as well as establishing his own label merc with a string of well made 12inches and two dope compilations, the man from birmingham complements our little label again with some original productions. starting with out with nobody else, mark puts love on top of love. unfortunately for you - and good for us - you have to fetch a second copy to go back and forth with the weighty bonus beats. flip side: the wolf is a murky trip into classic cavernous house music with a bottom-heavy ruffneck sound and an attention drawing siren. that alarm bell is also included in a minute-long extra fx section and for those that cannot get enough, seeks and ye shall find a locked-groove. people who like to carry their record collection around on a hard-drive, will also be pleased to know that there is an additional track to be found on the digital release (no locked grooves there, were afraid). its a contemplative force called stoneleigh express. e is for earthquake!

finally label owner maurice aymard releases his debut ep in his own label. after releasing last year in einmusik label and sasses mood music imprint, moe how his friends call him has decided to show his art through galaktika. the ep has two strong remixes the first one comes from the brazilian s head quarters and old friend from the house called gui boratto. gui is a top five world techno producer, after remixing names like moby, massive attack and robin williams he finds times in his super busy schedule and delivers a massive tune. he changes the hole track, he stamps his sound on the remix and add and incredible rhodes to close up the track, and epic remix that will last for ever. garnica does completely the opposite as gui, he turns put some for jules in a techno tune for pick time hours, with groove and percussions as main course. garnica has find his formula to make great remixes and keep your head up cause will be more to come.
